Are you up for a position as App Lead Engineer?

Join Johan Cederberg and his Team at Business Segment Pedestrian!

We are developing apps for both configuration and end-users and they will play a very important role in our door offering.

This new role as App Lead Engineer will take the technical leadership and, together with product owners and the platform manager, decide on the technology roadmap for the app development work within the platform. We are looking for a senior Engineer, with good people skills and lots of initiative and ability to work independently to join the team.

We focus on pedestrian entrance solutions, through design, manufacturing, sales, installation and service to optimize our customers business. The apps are playing a crucial role in the center between door products and IoT solutions.


These are the main responsibilities

  • Be responsible for technical decisions taken within app development
  • Define the technology roadmap for app development
  • Coach and guide team members
  • Working within scrum to implement features from the backlog
  • Work together with UI/UX and backend to refine stories
  • Lead proof of concept development work together with customers
  • App test responsibility including Appium development

Your experience & qualifications


  • Experienced app developer skilled in Swift and/or Kotlin
  • Experience with publishing apps in main platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play)
  • Experience running test programs with customers, e.g. through TestFlight and Play Console
  • Experience developing apps on both smartphones and tablets
  • BSc/MSc in computer science or equivalent field (or equivalent work history / experience or portfolio of personal projects).
  • Fluent in English
